Privacy Policy — PinyinLyrics

PinyinLyrics shows lyrics with pinyin (or romaji / romanization) in a floating window over the music app you are using. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and the developer runs no server.

What the app accesses

• Notification access: used only to read the active media session of your music apps (song title, artist, album, duration, playback position). The content of your notifications and messages is never read, stored or sent.
• Display over other apps: used to draw the lyrics window.
• Notifications: used to show the “PinyinLyrics is active” foreground-service notification.

What leaves your device

To find lyrics, the song title, artist, album and duration are sent to the lyrics service LRCLIB (lrclib.net). Its own privacy policy applies, and it can see your IP address as for any web request. Nothing else is sent.

Optionally (not in the Google Play version), the GitHub build can ask api.github.com for the latest version number once a day.

What stays on your device

Settings, favorites, recent history (can be turned off in Settings) and cached lyrics are stored locally. Uninstalling the app removes them. The developer cannot access them.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data.

PinyinLyrics muestra letras con pinyin (o romaji / romanización) en una ventana flotante sobre tu app de música. No tiene cuentas, anuncios ni analítica, y el desarrollador no gestiona ningún servidor.

A qué accede la app

• Acceso a notificaciones: solo para leer la sesión multimedia activa de tus apps de música (título, artista, álbum, duración, posición). El contenido de tus notificaciones y mensajes no se lee, guarda ni envía.
• Mostrar sobre otras apps: para dibujar la ventana de letras.
• Notificaciones: para mostrar el aviso “PinyinLyrics está activo” del servicio en primer plano.

Qué sale de tu dispositivo

Para buscar la letra se envían el título, artista, álbum y duración de la canción al servicio de letras LRCLIB (lrclib.net). Se aplica su propia política de privacidad y ve tu dirección IP, como en cualquier petición web. No se envía nada más.

Opcionalmente (no en la versión de Google Play), la versión de GitHub puede consultar a api.github.com el número de la última versión una vez al día.

Qué se queda en tu dispositivo

Ajustes, favoritos, historial reciente (se puede desactivar en Ajustes) y letras en caché se guardan localmente. Al desinstalar la app se eliminan. El desarrollador no tiene acceso a ellos.

Menores

La app no está dirigida a menores y no recoge datos personales.
